Guests have the rare and special opportunity to see baby reindeer calves — something most people never experience in person. 

Calving season is a short and remarkable window of time when new life arrives on the farm and visitors can witness the earliest stages of a reindeer’s journey. Watching calves stay close to their mothers, learn to explore, and grow day by day offers a meaningful, educational, and heartwarming glimpse into real farm life. It’s a once-a-season experience that makes a farm visit truly unforgettable. Springtime is full of new life on the farm, and Spring Baby Days give families the chance to see and learn about newborn animals up close, talk with our farm family about how they are raised and cared for, and enjoy interactive, kid-friendly activities that highlight the magic of the season.

Our guided field trips offer hands-on agricultural learning for schools, homeschool groups, and organizations. Visitors learn about reindeer and other farm animals, responsible animal care, and the daily work that goes into running a farm — all in an engaging, real-world setting.
